Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 29, 2026

1. Overview

SaveFileTool is a browser-side RPG Maker save editor. The current public build does not ship third-party analytics scripts, advertising scripts, or server-side save parsing.

Key Takeaway:

Selected save files are read in your browser. Optional history and templates are stored in your browser's IndexedDB only when you enable or save them.

2. Information You Provide

  • Save files: Files you choose are loaded by the browser for editing. They are not sent to a SaveFileTool server by the editor flow.
  • Optional local history: If enabled, original and edited files are kept in your browser's IndexedDB for faster repeat edits. You can disable and clear this history from the editor.
  • Optional local templates: Saved edit templates are stored in your browser's IndexedDB for reuse on the same device.
  • Support messages: If you email us, your email address and message are used to respond to your request.

3. Automatically Processed Data

Hosting and security providers may process standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and basic security signals. This is used to serve the website and protect it from abuse.

The current public build does not include third-party analytics, advertising scripts, cross-site ad cookies, or a first-party analytics beacon.
